I search for connection and I want to create it — with myself, with others, and with the world around me. Through my work, I create spaces for introspection and interaction, inviting wonder and reflection. I don’t shy away from what’s happening in society, but try to approach it with openness and reflection. My work often takes the form of installations, yet the medium remains free. Playfulness is my method, wonder is my compass, and connection is my goal.

SILKSCREEN WORK

Working primarily with transparent inks, my silkscreen work focuses on the relationship between people and their environment.

Forthcoming projects are concerned with themes of belonging through place-fulness and awareness. These prints will be finished as work-intensive silkscreen book forms, such as the flag book and tunnel book.

All prints are made in my Seoul studio.

POLITE COMPANY PRESS

Publishing work by myself and other artists based in Korea, Polite Company is a risography and photography press based in Seoul.

We focus on projects that work with local artists and most of our publications are available with both English and Korean contents. Additionally, we create stationery projects that reduce waste by recycling off cuts and leftover paper into useful goods.
